🌳 The Land Transport Authority (LTA) recently released an Environmental Impact Study (EIS) on the construction of an 800m portion of a viaduct passing through Sembawang Woods, as part of the upcoming North-South Corridor. Currently under MINDEF land, this area largely comprising of secondary forest houses at least 113 flora and 142 fauna species.

🌱 \”Nature Groups were engaged to review the anticipated environmental impacts and proposed mitigating measures. The consensus and overall assessment are that with the agreed mitigation measures, the impact will be brought to acceptable and inconsequential levels.
